and he said, ‘O Lord, the God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens? And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand so that no one can stand against You…nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” // 2 Chronicles 20:6, 12

Our Eyes on the Lord in 2025” is a campaign to remind ourselves to look to God as individuals and as a church. As a part of that, we want to double down on seeking God through prayer. This prayer guide will give you a daily reminder from God’s Word, along with a few prayer prompts. Allow the Lord to use these reminders and prompts to lead to even more thoughts from the Lord and more prayer conversations with the Lord.

Verse six above reminds us that no one can stand against the Lord! He does whatever He pleases. We are often faced with situations and sudden crises that leave us feeling overwhelmed and without any idea what to do next. In those moments, let’s strive to lift up the “shield of faith” (Ephesians 6:16) and rest our hope on the Lord! He loves it when we are in complete dependence on Him.

  • Pray and thank God that you are never alone and never without hope because of Him!
  • Tell God that you believe no one can stand against Him and that you believe He can do whatever He decides to do.
  • Tell God about a situation in your life that seems impossible and ask Him to do a great work in that situation that will give Him glory.
  • Ask God to give wisdom and insight to our Long-Range Planning Team as they begin today in their work of praying and seeking what God would have us do to prepare our campus for future growth.
